BSCI238F is now available on Testudo for registration!
Are you a life sciences student who is interested in learning the basics of coding in Python? Ever wondered how to apply principles of computer science to your field? BSCI238F is a Fall 2022 one-credit, student-taught course (STIC) for undergraduate students with little-to-no programming experience who are looking to start building a strong computational foundation starting with Python. This course will allow students who are new to coding to learn in a guided and collaborative environment.
We will also explore how programming is used in the broader context of the life sciences, research, and healthcare, while also touching on ethical coding, the issues around big data and data privacy, and how they overlap with the responsibilities of a scientist.
