Maryland Opioid Awareness Symposium 1/30-1/31

On January 30-31st, we will be holding our first annual Maryland Opioid Awareness Symposium to the public. CORA leaders will be presenting on various aspects of the opioid crisis, following the schedule shared. The overall goal of the MOAS is to protect and help Marylanders from the opioid crisis by preventing opioid use disorders and reducing the stigma associated with opioid use. All of our work has been vetted by both the members of the Center for Substance Abuse Research and many local health departments so that our materials are fact-based and relevant to Marylanders.

The content of the symposium is organized to be informative and engaging for both adults (Jan. 30th) and children/parents (Jan. 31st). You and your constituents are hereby formally invited to attend any of the presentations during either of the days. Attendees are allowed to join the symposium at any time during the days to listen to any presentation they are interested in.
