Have you noticed signs of addiction in your friends, but are unsure of what to do? Are you interested in how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted addiction in college students? The UMD AMSA Addiction Advocacy Project is hosting a guest speaker event ft. Dr. Amelia Arria, an avid researcher on substance abuse authoring more than 180 peer-reviewed scientific publications. Dr. Arria will discuss current research on the connection between untreated mental health and substance abuse among college students, and much more!
