Even though DC Schools are returning to in-person learning, many families are facing difficulties. Students have fallen behind in their studies, and the adjustment period is proving challenging. We know that the need for tutors will be very high due to the constant adjustments and the lack of resources provided to the community. This is especially true for Black, Latinx, students from low-income families, and students with disabilities who have been hit the hardest and are falling behind. If you are able, please consider volunteering at least an hour of your time to tutoring these students and serving as a role model. The program is completely virtual!
