The Office of Undergraduate Admissions, in collaboration with the Division of Student Affairs' Student Success Leadership Council, is offering two opportunities for current students to connect with prospective and newly admitted students.
Peer2Peer (P2P) encourages current University of Maryland students to assist with recruitment efforts in areas such as Prince George's County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Washington D.C. We are seeking enthusiastic students interested in attending campus events and/or going on the road with Admissions to attend college fairs, panels, and workshops. P2P ambassadors may also be selected to host prospective admitted students for our overnight stay program.
MentorMe mentors are current UMD students who can be paired with incoming first-year students to aid their transition to the University of Maryland. Mentors are charged with the responsibility of giving new incoming students their first personal connection to UMD.
If these two opportunities sound like you and you want to assist, complete the Peer2Peer & MentorMe Application by Tuesday, March 23, 2021 by 5:00 p.m.
