A free Mental Health First Aid Training exclusively for undergraduates is going to be hosted 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, October 24th over zoom. Register by going to ter.ps/MHFA24 by Friday, October 16th!
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders in adults. This 8-hour training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. This course will consist of a 2-hour self-paced introductory module, followed by the Skill Development segments of the training, taught synchronously via Zoom.
