Participate in the Humans of College Park project "Disability during COVID-19"

Subject:
Participate in the Humans of College Park project "Disability during COVID-19" by filling out this google form.

Description:
The project "Disability during COVID-19" specifically aims to empower the voices of this demographic and dispel mainstream stereotypes in society, especially in light of the recently highlighted health and societal disparities. Furthermore, this project aims to highlight how having a disability has further enriched life and made it more meaningful. Our Facebook and Instagram page contain examples of our posted content from three running project series, including Disability during COVID-19 (no names will be published).

Given that disability is not binary but rather a spectrum, Humans of College Park would like to represent physical, sensory, intellectual, emotional, developmental, and non-visible disabilities for this project. If you are a student, a staff member, or a faculty member with a disability, are affiliated with either UMD or College Park, and are interested in being interviewed virtually over Zoom for approximately an hour, please fill out this short google form:

UMD Hack4Impact Recruiting New Members

Hi everyone! We are looking for new members to join our UMD chapter of Hack4Impact. Hack4Impact is a student-run 501(c)(3) dedicated to building software for social impact. We recently started the UMD chapter of the national Hack4Impact organization. You can read more about our chapter [here](https://umd.hack4impact.org/) and the national organization [here](https://hack4impact.org/).

We partner with local nonprofits to help them better serve their communities. We are recruiting software developers, project managers, and UI designers for the upcoming school year. Don't worry about lack of experience with web or app development; we will provide training on the different technologies we will use. You may be a great fit for the club even if you have no previous internship or project experience.

We will have rolling applications that consist of a written application and a 15-20 minute video interview. We will be closing the form on January 25th or once we are full. Please apply via [this form](https://forms.gle/ZatKgzQNwUq2feyWA).
