CARE in Conversation: Prevention through Healthy Sexuality: Defying Cultural Norms of Shame and Victim Blaming

Join CARE on Wednesday, May 4th for our final event of the semester at CARE in Conversation. Enjoy coffee and cookies, while engaging in discussion on the interconnections between sexual assault prevention and healthy sexuality. Stop by McKeldin Library, Room 2105 between 3 and 4:30pm, where we'll unpack how social norms around shame and victim blaming can contribute to a culture that enables violence, and how promoting healthy sexuality is an essential part of changing these norms and preventing violence.

Please contact Charlotte at csheff4@umd.edu with any accessibility needs, or with any other questions. All are welcome!

Optional RSVP at go.umd.edu/careinconversation
